urbs//// objects + spaces>>>> coming fall 2026

A design+ studio + work+ shop in »»Humboldt park» Chicago

Our work is the overlap of objects and spaces, the commingling, the functional and ultimately creating a space that is in harmony.

When we work on a project, regardless of scale, we start with observing the space, understanding it, and how you live in it. We measure light, size, use…

Ultimately, A space should be in harmony with how you live. Things should have a home, objects on display should complete a scene as well as serve your day to day. When you open a drawer you find what you are looking for, nothing of excess just a place for the things you use.

AS you live in a space with new storage and objects, you have to observe your activities and if they are serving you properly, if you like the way they look. No matter the size of the space, you should always feel in control of your belongings.

«street view collection // in 2020 we began developing a textile collection that spoke to a place in time. collecting visuals from the city around us we started printing them onto different fabrics. The collection exists as upholstery and table linens.

<<honoring the everyday // We believe that every meal is special and that the table linens define the experience no matter how small.

Our prints tell a story about the city with grids and florals, grit, splats and overgrown foliage.

We print on different linens throughout the year as the seasons change.

for the past 20 years we have hustled…

And hustled, designed, made, photographed, marketed, trade showed... hustled, kick started, popped up, hustled, renegaded, hustled, popped up again... showed, sold, showed, and hustled....made, designed, showed >>>>> We are now blazing a trail into the next chapter. We are opening a space that is exclusively ours to make, sell, show, party, experiment, collaborate, and continue to create freely. We invite you to come find us and say, "hi," share your ideas and be a part of our community! ///

// To all of the design friends we have made along the way, we want to collaborate, share our space with you, and show your work! ///
